Volcano eruption causes gray column with 10 kilometers and even lightning

Images of the site show the violence of the eruption

Lewotobi Laki-Laki erupted again. The volcano located in the province of Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, was responsible for equally terrifying and fixing images.

From the top of his summit, he spitted Lava and a 10 million -tall gray column, according to that country’s volcanology agency.

In the middle of Lava’s orange came several lightning, in a not so common scenario, but it is difficult not to consider wonderful and terrifying at the same time.

This is not, not closely, the first eruption of a volcano that has been highly active in recent months. To be aware, earlier this month there was another eruption that formed an 18 -kilometer ash cloud, which even led to the cancellation of various flights from and to Bali.

As for the population, it was asked to withdraw from the area involving the first six to seven kilometers around the volcano crater, because there is a risk of large amounts of mud if there is rain.

Photographs shared by local agencies, which can be seen in the associated video, show well the dimension of the eruption.
