Man breaks glass on his brother's face and ends up beaten with ripped by popular

Odailton de Moura Gomes, 43, was physically assaulted by his own brother after a fight for a bottle of alcohol in late afternoon of Friday (1), in a residence located at Rua Tabosa, in the João Paulo neighborhood, Baixada da Sobral, in Rio Branco.

According to witnesses, Odailton was with his brother, identified only as “give”, and other friends participating in a drunkenness, when he took the bottle from the hands of “give”. At this point, the author, who held a glass of glass, struck Odailton’s face with the object. The glass broke, causing cuts on the victim’s face and head.

After the aggression, the other participants in the fraternization revolted and took some wooden slats. Even trying to escape, “give” was reached by at least six people and beaten in public roads, in front of a house on Tabosa Street.

Shortly thereafter, a driver passing by stopped, got out of the car and, with the help of others, put “give” it inside the vehicle. Due to the severity of the injuries, it was taken to the Baixada da Sobral Emergency Care Unit (UPA).

Odailton’s family members also called the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), which provided first aid at the scene. After the clinical stabilized clinical condition, the victim refused to be taken to UPA, where his brother was already receiving medical attention.

Garrisons from the 1st Military Police Battalion have searched the region, but so far none of the attackers have been arrested. The case will be investigated by the Civil Police.
