United States President Donald Trump said on Friday that nuclear submarines are closer to Russia.
In an interview with Newsmaxthe American leader discussed the measure in reaction to the comments, saying that “his eyes shine” when nuclear weapons are mentioned.
“Well, a former president of Russia who is now in charge of one of the most important advice, Medvedev, said some very bad things, talking about nuclear energy. And when you mention the word ‘nuclear’, my eyes shine and I say, ‘It’s better to be careful’ because it’s the ultimate threat,” Trump said.
In addition, Republican rebuked Medvedev, who is currently vice president of the Russian Security Council, warning that he should not make threats.
Trump also criticized the war between Russia and Ukraine, characterizing the situation as “terrible.”
Previously, former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev said each new Ultimatum taken by Moscow is a “step towards war”-not between Russia and Ukraine, but “with his own country.”
“Trump is playing the ultimatum game with Russia: 50 days or 10,” wrote Medvedev, ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an X post.
On the other hand, the Republican announced the sending of nuclear submarines on Friday (1st).
