Milk in the garden? It is no Baba’s superstition. If properly used, milk can be an effective natural means of nutrition of roses and protection against diseases.

Roses are among the most grateful but also the most demanding flowers in the garden. To actually benefit, they need not only regular but also balanced nutrition and protection against diseases and pests. But here that ordinary cow’s milk can help. It contains calcium, proteins and vitamins that support growth and at the same time act as a natural fungicide. Although it sounds really strange, milk is used as an additional fertilizer more and more often. But how and when to apply it so that it really benefits roses?
