On Saturday, Slovak firefighters ended their several days of work in Bulgaria, where they participated in the extinguishing of a large forest fire. The morning briefing was officially confirmed by the liquidation of the fire and the firefighters from Slovakia are coming back home. Slovakia was sent to Bulgaria to help with the fire extinguishing Black Hawk, the Slovak Interior Minister Matúš Šutaj Eštok (Voice-SD) said on Sunday (27 July) to help with extinguishing fires. Two pilots, two mechanics and two firefighters from the air extinguishing module flew to Bulgaria from Slovakia.

A total of 151 matches carried out about 462,000 liters of water. Crews from the Czech Republic and Hungary were also involved in the extinguishing. Later, helicopters from France, Romania and Sweden were added. HaZZ added that the services of the aircraft operator are co -financed by the European Union through the Resceu Transition 2025 grant.
