Neither the locals nor the numerous tourists who came to admire the artificial fires on July 13 in Roscoff, located in the Brittany region, were really dazzled by the show: bad soundtrack, reduced duration and disappointing rockets.
Many people expressed their dismay at the end of the show, as published by the French media. A completely understandable disappointment when it was explained that the reason settled in a confusion.
The show presented was, in fact, the planned one for another nearby town and not, at all, “the person in charge of the people,” said the French town.
The problem was due to an error of the pyrotechnic company, which apologized to the City Council of Roscoff, according to the press release. “The pyrotechnic simply made an error in the prepared program and reversed the show,” details the company’s text, according to the same medium.
An error that will be remedied on August 14 with a new more powerful and greater pyrotechnic show. The fireworks will be triggered personally by the company’s manager. This service will be carried out without an additional cost for the municipality, “the community added.
