A 54-year-old motorcyclist did not survive a collision with a car on Saturday at noon on the road I/11b in Čadca. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident. TASR informed the Žilina regional police spokeswoman Zuzana Šefčíková. “The driver managed the Longjia motorcycle along the road I/11B towards Žilina, and for precisely unknown reasons there was a collision with a vehicle coming from the side road,” Šefčíková described.
According to her, the motorcyclist suffered injuries, which unfortunately succumbed to the spot, the passenger escaped without injury. “The motor vehicle driver has undergone a breath test with a negative result. An autopsy was ordered for the poor. The case was taken over by the investigator of the District Directorate of the Police Force in Čadca. Other circumstances, as well as the exact causes of the tragic traffic accident, are subject to investigation, ”she added.
In this context, the police appeal to drivers of passenger and trucks to be alert. “You are not alone on the road. In a collision with an inattentive driver of the car, there are those who have no sheets around them, physically more vulnerable and have significantly worse chances,” She warned Šefčíková.
