Another execution in their Florida. A man sentenced to death for the murder of his wife and their two children in 1994 was executed yesterday, July 31, 2025, with deadly injectable chemicals.

60 -year -old Edward Zakzzevski, a former US Air Force Officer, was sentenced to the murders of Silvia, his 34 -year -old wife, their son Edward, 7, and their daughter Anna, 5 years old.
Escaped to Hawaii
He fled to Hawaii, where he was hidden using a false identity, but was delivered at the beginning four months later, after being recognized by citizens after a television broadcast for the still unmistakable murders.
The execution of Edward Zakzzevski is the 27th execution for 2025 in the US – their number increases this year. In Florida, nine of them became.
Of the 27 executions this year, most -23- were made with injectable deadly chemicals.
Death execution with nitrogen inhalation
Three – two in Alabama, one in Louisiana – were caused by suffocation due to nitrogen inhalation, a very controversial method, as UN experts call it a form of “torture”.
Two more were made by executive excerpts in South Carolina; before this year, this method has been used in the country since 2010.
The death penalty has been abolished in 23 of the 50 US states. In the other three – California, Oregon, Pennsylvania – a moratorium is applied to its implementation, with decisions of their rulers.
