Singer Alcione, 77, one of the best known artists in the country, says she will make a “macumbinha” for US President Donald Trump to leave Brazil in peace.
“I want to send a message to Trump. He needs to leave Brazil alone, drops Alexandre de Moraes, our wonderful minister. When I get out of here I will make a macumbeinha to Trump,” he said, when he participated in the program It’s from homefrom Rede Globo, this Saturday, 2.

The artist’s speech went viral on social networks. “In this land there is one thing he doesn’t have there: Macumba. Is their macumba there good?” Asks the artist. Alcione is a declared fan of Alexandre de Moraes, Minister of the Supreme Court (STF), against whom the US President used the Global Magnitsky law. Moraes has also been banned by Trump from entering the United States.
