Brazil triumphed over Slovenia, this Sunday (3), in the dispute for the third place of the Men’s Volleyball League. The victory was obtained from a turn, by 3 sets to 1, with partials of 23/25, 25/20, 25/23 and 25/19, in 1h49.
To reach the bronze medal, the team had a great acting of the opposite Alan, who scored 18 points. He and his companions celebrated the result achieved at the Ningo Beilun Gymnasium Hall in Ningbo, China.
“It’s a bronze that has a golden taste, yes,” said Central Flávio. “Only we know how difficult it was. We are young team, we had difficulties. Each one did our best on the court, even if it was imperfect.”
The Brazilian team owned the best campaign of the first phase, with 11 wins and a defeat. In the final stage of the tournament in China, he defeated the hostess by 3 sets to 1 before being dominated by Poland in the semifinals and losing 3 sets to 0.
