Gazati authorities encrypt more than 170 dead for hunger in full Israeli offensive

The authorities of the Gaza Strip, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), have raised this domination to more than 170 the Palestinians killed by hunger or malnutrition since the beginning of the offensive unleashed by the Army of Israel after the attacks of October 7, 2023 and in the middle of the Israeli restrictions to the entry of aid to the enclave.

The Gazatí Ministry of Health has reported that the hospitals of the Strip have registered six new deaths from famine and malnutrition in the last 24 hours, which raises the total number of deaths for this cause to 175, including 93 children, according to a statement published in its Telegram channel.

On the other hand, the Gaza Media Office has accused the Israeli authorities of blocking the entry of 22,000 humanitarian aid trucks that are parked at border crossings, “most of which belong to the UN” and other international organizations.

“The Israeli occupation deliberately prevents its entrance as part of a systematic policy of generating famine, siege and chaos as part of the genocide crime that is being committed against more than 2.4 million people in the Gaza Strip,” he denounced before condemning “the continuous blockade, the hungry of the civilian population and the retention of help.”

Thus, he has argued that these measures are considered “a full -fledged war crime that violates all international norms and conventions”, while he has fully responsible for Israel, as well as “the states involved for silence or complicity, for the aggravation of the humanitarian catastrophe and the disastrous consequences of depriving the population of food, medicines and fuel.”

Therefore, it has demanded the “immediate, safe and constant entry of all the trucks arrested, the unconditional opening of the border crossings and guarantee the help flow to save lives from civilians, before it is too late.”

It is worth mentioning that on the eve he denounced that only 36 trucks with humanitarian aid entered the enclave on Saturday, despite the fact that “the famine ravages the children of Gaza amid a shameful international silence.”

As noted, most vehicles “were subject to looting and robberies due to systematic and deliberately perpetuated safety chaos by Israeli occupation, as part of what is known as the famine policy.”

In this regard, he recalled that 600 daily trucks are needed, with humanitarian and fuel aid, in order to meet the basic needs of the Palestinian population in the strip “before the total collapse of the infrastructure due to the genocidal war.”

After this complaint, the Palestinian Ministry of Health has announced that this Sunday trucks with medicines and medical equipment will arrive at hospitals through a coordinated action with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Thus, he has warned that these vehicles do not contain food and that the articles that are expected to arrive “are of great importance and urgency to continue providing medical attention to the injured and sick and save lives.” Therefore, he has urged to “make all possible efforts to protect the convoy.”

The offensive against Gaza, launched in response to the attacks of October 7, 2023-who left about 1,200 dead and about 250 kidnapped, according to the Israeli government-, has left to date more than 60,400 dead Palestinians, as denounced by the authorities of the Palestinian enclave, controlled by Hamas, although it is feared that the figure is higher.
