An eight-month-old pregnant woman was kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend and kept in private jail for two days in Itirapina, a city located in the interior of São Paulo. The crime happened last Wednesday (30) and the victim was rescued from captivity last Friday (1st).
A CNN He learned that the perpetrator did not accept the end of his relationship with his wife and would have found that she would already be involved with someone else.
In kidnapping the victim, the suspect removed the woman’s cell phone chip to prevent her from being able to talk to family and friends and forbade her to take medicines for continuous use.
According to police, police from the Sumaré Women’s Defense Police Station (SP) were able to track the cell phone signs of the woman and the suspect, when they called the city’s Civil Police agents and sent the geographical coordinates of the possible captivity.
At the scene, the victim was rescued and later taken back to Sumaré. The hijacker was arrested in the act and sent to the Rio Claro police station, also in the interior of the state.
The suspect underwent a custody hearing on Saturday (2) and can be responsible for kidnapping and private jail.
