Survey of the Datafolha Institute released on Saturday (2) shows that, among the names of the family of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) quoted to run for the Presidency of the Republic in 2026, former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro is the one who performs the best performance in voting intentions.
In the scenario in which Michelle faces President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT), the petista appears with 39% of voting intentions, while she adds 24%. Lula’s advantage increased by the previous survey, made in June, when he had 37% and Michelle, 26%.

Two other children of the former president were also tested in the survey. Against Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), Lula appears with 40% of voting intentions, against 18% of the parliamentarian-this is the first time Flavio’s name appears in this type of simulation. Already in the scenario facing the federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP), the petista has 39% and the deputy, 20%, maintaining the same rates as the previous survey, with oscillation of two points more for Lula.
The institute also evaluated second round scenarios, in which Lula also appears ahead:
- Lula 48% x 40% Michelle Bolsonaro
- Lula 48% x 37% Flávio Bolsonaro
- Lula 49% x 37% Eduardo Bolsonaro
The survey also included names by center-right governors considered possible pre-candidates, such as Ratinho Jr. (PSD), Ronaldo Caiado (União Brasil) and Romeu Zema (Novo), whose voting intentions ranged from 6% to 14%.
The survey listened to 2,004 voters 16 years or older in 130 municipalities in the country, between July 29 and 30. The margin of error is two percentage points, for more or less, and the confidence level is 95%.
