A woman was arrested on Sunday (3) Napor traveling on a bus with a two -year -old girl in a suitcase. She was accused of abuse against and negligent, police said.

Police officers went to a bus terminal in Kaiwaka, almost 100 kilometers north of Auckland, after the bus driver noticed during a stop that one of the bags was moving, inspector Simon Harrison explained. “When the driver opened the suitcase, he found the two -year -old,” said the policeman. “The girl was very hot, but otherwise it seemed physically unharmed,” he added.

The luggage was in a separate compartment under the passenger area. Harrison reported that the girl is hospitalized and should undergo a medical evaluation.

The 27 -year -old woman was arrested. According to the police, the driver avoided “which could have been much worse” and said authorities do not rule out presenting more accusations.
