The woman faces allegations of poor treatment and neglect of the child.
In New Zealand on Sunday, the police detained a woman who was carrying a child trapped in the trunk on the bus. TASR reports this according to AFP reports and TV RNZ.
The police were called to a stop in Kaiwaka’s bus driver, who noticed the movement in the luggage. “When the driver opened a suitcase, he discovered a two -year -old girl in it,” said detective inspector Simon Harrison.
Baby in the suitcase
“The girl was reportedly very angry, but otherwise it seemed to be fine,” he said.
A suitcase with a child was placed in the space under the passengers for the transport of luggage. The inspector said the child is currently in a hospital where he is undergoing a medical examination. He added that they accused a 27-year-old woman of bad treatment of the child and his neglect.
Chauffeur intervention
Harrison highlighted the driver’s emergency room, which, in his words, a situation that “could end up much worse”.
The New Zealand Ministry for Children was also informed of the incident. It is not excluded that further allegations will be raised against a woman.
According to RNZ television, a woman came to the District Court on the north coast on Monday.
