Following Gabriel Bortoleto’s victory at F2, it was Rafael Câmara’s turn to put Brazil among the best in the world of motorsport. The Brazilian won the race in Hungaroring in Hungary to secure the title of Formula 3 champion in his debut season. With 156 points won, the Trident pilot led the best in the championship with a stage in advance.

Three safety car entrances, caused by accidents on the Hungarian track, constantly interrupted the rhythm of the race. Following the third security car intervention, on lap 14, Rafael set a 1.5 -second advantage over Boya.
With limited test time due to multiple interruptions, Boya decreased the difference to only 0.6 second when 12 minutes left to the end. In the final stretch, however, the Brazilian showed superiority by expanding the advantage to more than 2 seconds, recording the fastest return and crossing the finish line as champion.
Meanwhile, Tramnitz, another opponent in the title fight, rode in the first lap, but managed to stay on the track, falling to 24th position.
Rafael Câmara has impressed since the beginning of the season in Formula 3. The Pernambuco set a record in the category by winning four pole positions in the first five races, and winning three races in Australia, Bahrain and Spain.
With this achievement, Câmara becomes the second Brazilian to win the Formula 3 Championship, following in the footsteps of Gabriel Bortoleto, champion in 2023. Bortoleto, current Formula 1 driver, also won the Formula 2 title in the year following his F3 victory.

Rafael Câmara competes in 2025 for the Trident, current Formula 3 champion and recognized for investing in young promises. A native of Recife, the 19 -year -old rider currently resides in Milan.
