The first film from the Sun trilogy, hay, … He saw the light of the world in 1984 and earned an extraordinary audience success. Czech director Zdeněk Troška (72) later filmed two other sequels, which today are among the cult works of Czech cinematography. But fans of these summer hits still learn new behind the scenes after so many years. The Czech daily came up with an interesting novelty.

Who would not remember the scene of the Sun, Hay, Strawberries, where little Jirka helps Helene Růžičková († 67) with a rabbit whose skin deers and she karishes him to hold him properly. “All day of the rabbit, we have a rabbit every day, nor does it eat Pinďo anymore! That Pinďo, that you don’t want a rabbit anymore?” Sounds notorious message.

The dog, who cut a short role under the name Pinďa, was actually called Fredy and it was a beloved pet Helena Růžičková. She took it with you to shoot like a mascot, a friend and a colleague in one.

The director a little in the past admitted that the film almost broke him and wanted to end everything. As if there weren’t enough During the cut, there were censors and pensioners and the Catholic Church also stood.

A native of Hoštice is still angry that he had to cut out the film for 10 minutes and considers it destroyed. There were censors with the paper on which they had written what they had to go away from the image, but when he objected, they told him that the movie would not go to the cinemas. “One of the comrades screamed at me by thinking he would knock him. He shouted that I was insulting his grandmother,” said.

They also had comments to the chairman, who had a cowboy hat on his head. According to them, the socialist farmer did not look like this, and for that, critics and party sessions called and wanted to steam a 5-year stop.

It was rolled on the creators from all sides. Pensioners did not like how their director depicted in the film. After the second part, the Catholic Church was also heard. They criticized the scene where the pastor Otík crawls the electric fence for cows and burns nature. The culmination of everything was the Ministry of Transport, which objected to the famous message: “We do not stop, we have a release!” And it wrote that the trains stop and no one has to jump into them while driving.
