The National Anti -Corruption Office of Ukraine (NABA) and the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) revealed a new case of bribery concerning the procurement of unmanned aircraft and electronic struggle. It consisted in concluding contracts with supplier companies at consciously exaggerated prices, TASR reports on the basis of DPA reports and Ukrainian Pravda portal.
Four people were arrested including Oleksija Kuznecova, Member of the Party Servant of the Nation, whose member is also a Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj. According to party officials, Kuznec’s membership was suspended until the investigation was completed.
Among the persons caught in receiving bribes are also the leaders of the local government as well as members of the National Guard, According to the Minister of Interior Ihor Klymenko, according to the Minister of Interior, they were out of service.
The investigation has shown that up to 30 percent of the contractual amount returned to the offense of the offense in the form of an illegally acquired profit. Information on the total amount of damage caused by the state budget was not immediately available.
