The Civil Guard and Maritime Rescue have resumed on Monday the search device of the 27 -year -old missing this Sunday at sea, at the beach of the dead, in the municipality of Carboneras (Almería). He disappeared when he tried to return to the shore with three other bathers.
The operation, deployed by sea, air and land, remains active, although without results so far, according to Europa Press sources of the 112 Andalusia emergency service.
The disappearance occurred at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, when 112 was alerted that a young man could not return to land due to the strong wind and waves. Shortly after it was confirmed that there were four bathers in trouble. Three of them managed to reach a rocky area, while the room submerged without the surface.
The Special Group of Underwater Activities (GEAS) of the Civil Guard has incorporated its divers into submarine tracking from the first hour, focusing on the area where the disappearance occurred. Maritime rescue has also activated Salvamar Algenib, while Civil Protection, Maritime Patrol and Helimer 215 helicopter have reinforced the device.
