Arboleda x Muller: Understand the controversy

The former striker, idol of São Paulo and currently commentator, recently criticized the high number of foreigners in Brazilian football. In an interview with the “Open Aspas” painting, last Friday, he nominally cited the São Paulo cast:

– Sao Paulo has nine foreigners, and one worse than the other – said Muller, who won several titles for the club in the 1990s. Interestingly, the two tricolor goals against Inter were made by foreigners: Arboleda (Ecuadorian) and Bobadilla (Paraguayan).

Jonathan Calleri, currently recovering from knee injury, shares with Rogério Ceni and Luis Fabiano the club’s historic artillery in Libertadores, with 14 goals.
