At least 40 Palestinians were killed by Israel’s gunfire and air attacks in the Gaza Strip on Monday (4), including ten people seeking humanitarian aid, health officials said.
In addition, five more people starved or malnourished in the last 24 hours, the Gaza Ministry of Health said. With this, the number of people who starved in Palestinian territory rose to 180, including 93 children.
The ten victims seeking supplies were killed in two separate cases, near places belonging to GHF (Humanitarian Gaza Foundation), which is supported by the United States, downtown and southern Gaza, according to doctors.
The UN states that more than a thousand people since GHF began operating in May 2025.
Most of these victims would have been shot by the Israeli forces operating near the Foundation’s facilities.
Mortails are missing in the Gaza Strip
“Everyone who goes there come back with a bag of flour or loaded back [em uma maca de madeira] Like martyrs, or injured, “said the 40 -year -old Palestinian Bilal Thari.
He was among people in mourning at Al Shifa Hospital in the city of Gaza on Monday, who gathered to collect the bodies of the loved ones who were killed on Sunday (3) by Israeli fire while seeking help, according to Gaza’s health authorities.
At least 13 Palestinians were killed on Sunday while waiting for the UN’s help of help trucks in the Israeli border of Zikim with the northern Gaza Strip, according to the authorities.
In the hospital, some bodies were wrapped in blankets, because the white shots, which have special meaning in Islamic burials, were missing.
“We do not want war, we want peace, we want this suffering to end. We are on the streets, we are all hungry, we are all in poor condition, women are on the streets, we have nothing available to live a normal life like all human beings, there is no life,” Thari told Reuters.
There was no immediate comment from Israel on cases with Sunday deaths and this Monday.
And he says he is taking steps to help more to reach the population, including interruption of fighting for part of the day in some areas, airline air releases, and advertisement of protected routes for help trains.
