The Mixed Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPMI) that will investigate unauthorized fraud and discounts made by unions in retirement and pensions should be installed later this week, with the resumption of parliamentary work in the National Congress. The commission is expected to be started until Thursday. The president of the board will be the senator (PSD-AM), leader of the Senate party. The rapporteur will be a deputy, not yet defined by the mayor (Republicans-PB). The expectation, however, is that the rapporteur will be a center deputy, without connection with pockets and has no commitment to the government base. Omar Aziz told the young Pan that he intends to direct the work in favor of retirees, preventing the debate to climb and be contaminated by polarization.

“It is not something against or B, it is in favor of people who have been deceived. There is no reason to be a hysteria between right and left, Lula or Bolsonaro. I do not see because polarizing the debate. People who have committed these acts need to be punished,” said the senator. In May, the opposition in the National Congress obtained the number of signatures required to install CPMI. In April, an operation of the Federal Police and the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU) pointed to the existence of a scheme of unauthorized discounts made by unions in retirement and pensions. The commission has the participation of deputy and senators, unlike a CPI in the House, who has only the participation of deputies.
