The President of the Republic, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT), met this Sunday, 3, in Brasilia, with Fidel Antonio Castro Smirnov, the “Fidelitus” – grandson of Cuban leader Fidel Castro, who died in 2016.
A record showing Lula and Fidelito was published by the mayor of Maricá (RJ), Washington Quaquá (PT), who claimed to be responsible for the “symbolic meeting”, during the closing of the 17th National Meeting of the PT.
“Congress was also marked by a symbolic encounter I helped build: the hug between Lula and Fidelito, grandson of Fidel. A gesture of affection and history, which now becomes the future. Fidelito will develop research in nuclear medicine in Maricá. We follow firm, boldly, project and foot in the people!” He wrote.
