Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) authorized the unlocking of the profiles of commentator Rodrigo Constantino in several social networks after more than two years of suspension. The decision was made on Friday (1st) and the profiles aired on Monday (4).
With the authorization, Constantine will be able to use his accounts in X, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Tiktok, Gettr and Patreon. Blocks had been determined in the context of investigations into disinformation dissemination, attacks on the electoral system and incitement against democratic institutions.
Constantine’s lawyer, Emerson Grigollette, celebrated the decision. “Welcome back, @rconstantino! After more than two years of fighting, we got the reversal of one of the most serious censorship in our history,” he wrote on his X profile.

Investigated since 2022
Based in the United States, Constantine had her accounts suspended in December 2022, along with other scholarships such as Guilherme Fiuza and Paulo Figueiredo. At the time, they were all investigated in the context of Moraes opened inquiries about the spread of undemocratic discourses, STF attacks and fake news about pandemic.
In his first publication after the X -account reactivation, Constantino mocked the situation: “Test! Release my account soon !!! or I will talk to Xande…”, referring to Minister Alexandre de Moraes, rapporteur of the case.
The decision occurs amid a moment of strong tension between the STF and allies of former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL), marked by judicial clashes, new precautionary measures against politicians and an international escalation of the institutional crisis ,.
