The president of EBC (Brazil Communication Company), resigned on Monday (4). He says he handed the request to the Minister of Secom (Secretariat of Social Communication) of the Presidency, and is available to him for the transition from office.
“I presented to the minister my resignation today. I am available to the minister to the transition with the successor he define. And confident in the success of the president’s government. Who continues to change the life of the Brazilian people for the better,” he told the Sheet.
According to reports, Lima informed company employees on Monday morning about his decision, without indicating who his replacement should be.
Affiliated to the Federal District, he took office in December 2023 after sharing in social networks critical publications to Israel supporters. At that moment, Lima was the director general of EBC, and the minister of Secom was Paulo Pimenta.
