Nothing prevents you from growing this variety in a home vegetable garden or even on the balcony. Its fruits captivate with a unique taste, but also a consistency – you can eat them literally like an apple, and the juice will not flow down your hands.

Annans tomatoes are characterized by thin skin and a thick flesh with a compact consistencyi. They don’t have empty seed chambers inside. That is why we do not have to worry that the fruit will be watery.

The more mature this tomato is, the better it has. Then it can weigh up to 250 g. If you want to speed up the process of puberty, then it is worth placing it in a paper bag with apple or banana.

Initially, the fruits of this variety stain yellow. Over time, they begin to take on pinkish stripes and blushes – in this form they taste best. At first glance, they resemble flattened onions. However, they do not always have a pointed vertices. On the other hand, their characteristic feature are longitudinal grooves.

Pineapple tomatoes are fleshy and sweet. However, their smell is similar to the fragrance of pineapple or peach.

You can eat their fruit without any additions, raw, like apples. They taste great on a sandwich, but also in fruit salads. We recommend combining them with pineapples, peaches, apricots or plums. Of course, the vegetable versions will also match.
