Uber-rival Lyft brings Chinese robotaxis to Europe

The Uber-Rival Lyft wants to bring Chinese robotaxis to Europe on a large scale after buying the Freenow mobility app. The start is planned for 2026 in Germany and Great Britain – provided the authorities give the green light. Over time, the vehicle fleet of the Chinese technology group Baidu should be expanded to “thousands of” autonomous cars, said Lyft.
