An attempted abduction of a three -year -old girl was locked in time in a shopping center in Virginia, United States. The incident occurred in the Fair Oaks Mall Children’s Leisure Zone, where a 26-year-old man took the child and walked quietly away from the corridors.
The father, upon noticing the disappearance of his daughter, immediately warned the mother, who located the suspect already on the upper floor of the shopping center. When confronted, the man returned the girl and fled the place.
The child returned to his parents without injury, though visibly disturbed. The suspect was eventually arrested the next day in a nearby hotel. In addition to this abduction attempt, it is also accused of driving a stolen vehicle.
Authorities have revealed that man has a history of domestic violence and mental health problems, including schizophrenia, finding himself at the time without any accompaniment.
