The General Superintendence of Cade (Administrative Council for Economic Defense) has opened administrative proceedings against Ipiranga oil products and Petrobras distributor for infraction to the economic order, in a procedure that investigates an alleged fuel distribution market division.
In a report, the technical team points out that there are robust evidence of the infraction to the economic order and calls for the opening of the administrative process.
In addition to the companies, there are the senior commercial advisor of Petrobras Distribuidora, Luis Alves Lima Filho, and the manager of the Ipiranga Road Division, Mario Alencar Vargas Pereira.
The evaluation by CADE’s technical area arose from the “Operation Controlled Margin”, which determined the practice of anti -agoncrerential conduct by fuel distributors.
