At the age of 95, former Romanian President Ion Ion Ion Ion, who was the head of state in a chaotic transition from communism to democracy, died on Tuesday. In the era of Communism, Iliesca was a member of the Parliament (1957 – 1985) several times and 1965 to 1984 a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Romania.
