Beach of Company, in Grândola, was the scene of another operation of deactivation of explosive mills this summer. On Monday afternoon, Navy Sapador Divers were called to the scene to neutralize a fumigen-type mill found in the sand.
The warning was given around 5 pm and, according to the Portuguese Navy, no incident or injured during the operation was registered. The intervention was rapidly and effectively, with the detachment of Sapadors divers No. 1 to assume the mission, in coordination with the captaincy of the Port of Setúbal, and with the support of the Maritime Police and the Grant Voluntary Firefighters.
