Madrid – Shortly after the start of the second official heat wave of the year in Spain, there has already been a first death. An 85 -year -old man in Badajoz had died of the consequences of the extremely high temperatures, the government of the Extremadura region said in the west of the country. According to the weather authority Aemet, Badajoz and Córdoba in Andalusia registered the highest temperatures on Monday, each with around 42 degrees.
