Flamengo is interested in hiring Gabriel Brazão, goalkeeper of Santos. With the confirmation that Matheus Cunha will leave the red-black at the end of the season after signing a pre-contract with Cruzeiro, the Rio club put Brazão as the main target.
According to journalist Venê Casagrande, Flamengo is evaluating the hiring of Brazil for next season, when Matheus Cunha will leave the club. Meanwhile, the team should go with Rossi as a starter, as well as Dyogo Alves and Leo Nannetti as immediate options in the main group.
Also according to the journalist, the club tried to anticipate the arrival of a new goalkeeper in this transfer window. However, for not finding a confidence name available in the market, the club chose to keep Cunha until the end of the bond.

Flamengo Hiring in 2025
Flamengo started 2025 with great movement in the market. Juninho, coming from Qarabag (Azerbaijan), was announced for about 5 million euros (R $ 31 million). The 28 -year -old has a contract until the end of 2028.

The management expanded the budget for reinforcements from R $ 124 million to R $ 186 million, with the potential to exceed R $ 300 million until the end of the year -end transfers.
