A couple of first -time buyers took a little surprise when the former owners of their new house took something unexpected. Elise Wassell, 22, and George Larder, 23, moved to a new home with their eight -month -old daughter in June.
Everything was perfect when they received the keys, as published by the media until they noticed that something was missing: the former owners had taken the rolle that cover the edge of the wall with the floor, in the living room and the kitchen.
The previous owners had taken them to move, which seemed very strange, since, as they subsequently found, they had included them in the price. Not finding them anywhere in the property, Wassell informed his lawyer.
Wassell explained that she and her partner had visited the property three times before buying it, and that the Rodapiés were still in place, as can be seen in the photos.
“I was even more confused when I saw that they had left half of the rolling in the kitchen. Why didn’t they take everything? Everything in the house was disgusting, covered with dust. My little daughter climb, so I need the rolle. It is really disappointing because, when I look back, the previous owners were very friendly when I met them in person,” said the woman.
The lawyer of the new owners negotiated with the seller, but he refused to pay for the damages they had left. The young parents ended up looking at the rolling place for six weeks, until a friend hit them some new for 300 pounds (about 344 euros).
