The task force will coordinate preparations for the Olympic Games, scheduled for July 2028, followed by the Paralympic Games in August of the same year, according to the newspaper.
The (United States Department of Internal Security) classified the Olympics as a special national security event, a designation that allows you to coordinate protection plans with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the secret service and other federal agencies.
