The Donald Trump government reacted with criticism over and over the decision of Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) ,.
In an official publication on Monday night (4), the Western Hemisphere Office, linked to the State Department, accused Moraes of violating human rights and instrumentalizing Brazilian justice to silence political opponents.

The US agency has stated that it will hold “all those who collaborate or facilitate sanctioned conduct”, in reference to the possibility of applying additional punishments through the magnitsky law ,.
With this, Moraes was the target of blockade of goods, had the entry in the vetoed country and was prevented from maintaining business relations with US companies or citizens. The minister’s inclusion on this list caused a strong repercussion in the diplomatic and political environment.
