Eight people, including two members of the government, died in a helicopter accident in Ghana. The Ghana Aviation helicopter collapsed in the Ashanti region. Among the passengers were Minister of Defense Edward Omane Boamah and Minister of the Environment, Science and Technology Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed.
The armed forces reported on Wednesday that a helicopter with three crew members and five passengers disappeared from the radar.
