The request asks to motorly adopt administrative measures to discount the subsidies “of parliamentarians who, deliberately, of the House, through improper occupation of the table and physical obstruction of plenary sessions.”
Boulos argues that the intentional stoppage of legislative work hurts the principle of
Efficiency of public administration and “impairs the processing of projects that directly benefit the Brazilian people.”
“It is up to the presidency of this House to adopt the appropriate measures to ensure the regularity of sessions and the responsibility in the use of public resources,” he says.
The deputy says that the actions of the pockets constitute conduct incompatible with the regular exercise
of the parliamentary mandate and which should cause, at least, “the suppression of the remuneration related to the days when, by willful action or omission, they contributed to the stoppage of legislative work.”
He points out that the occupation of the Plenary and the House table by the pockets is not the result of legitimate divergence within the democratic debate, “but the imposition of an openly undemocratic agenda, which includes the defense of amnesty to scammers, the attack on the judiciary and the attempt to destabilize republican institutions.”
“This is a conduct that undermines the regular functioning of Parliament and compromises the constitutional mission of this House of legislating in favor of the rights of the Brazilian population.”
