What is Goalball?
Goalball was developed exclusively for visually impaired people. The court has the same dimensions of volleyball (9m wide by 18m long). The matches are held in two 12 -minute times, with three minutes break. Each team has three starting players and three reserves. On each side of the court, there is a goal with 9m wide and 1.30m high. Athletes are both throwing and defenders. The throw should be low or touch at least once in the mandatory areas. The goal is to swing the opposing network.
