The Ministry of Health authorized the release of more than R $ 4.8 million to reinforce the hospital structure of five municipalities of Acre. The measure was published on Wednesday (6), through Ordinance GM/MS No. 7,861, in the Official Gazette (DOU).

The transfer, which will be made in a single installment, aims to ensure the purchase of permanent equipment and materials for health facilities in the benefited cities. The funds will be transferred directly to the municipal health funds.
Sena Madureira will be the municipality with the highest value intended, receiving R $ 1,749,871.00. Following, Plácido de Castro will have access to R $ 999,330.00, while Mâncio Lima will have R $ 995,896.00. Porto Walter was awarded R $ 799,839.00, and Porto Acre with R $ 284,275.00.
The initiative strengthens public health care in the interior of the state, ensuring better conditions of care to the population and expanding the capacity of local health facilities.
