Alec Luhn has been missing since Monday
American journalist Alec Luhn, who disappeared during a walk in a Norwegian national park, was found alive, according to the Norwegian Red Cross.
Luhn was found near Folgefonna National Park by a helicopter team and was taken for medical treatment, the organization wrote at X on Wednesday.
Luhn, a climate journalist from Wisconsin, was missed by his wife, Veronika Silchenko on Monday after not boarding his home-back flight.
Silchenko told CNN before he had talked to Luhn last Thursday when he was walking.
The Norwegian Red Cross wrote at X on Wednesday that the search for Luhn had resumed this morning and that a large team of volunteers had been mobilized, including specialized teams in climbing and drones.
The 38 -year -old has worked for publications such as National Geographic, The Guardian, The New York Times and The Atlantic. It is currently based on London after living in Moscow and Istanbul.
