Russian attacks killed two people and wounded another ten, including four children in the Zaporizehzia region of Ukraine, according to Governor Ivan Fedorov on Wednesday (6).
The Russian forces performed 567 attacks at 24 hours until the morning, at local time, in 16 settlements in the region, said Fedorov. Zaporizehzia was at the front line of the war that Russia launched against Ukraine in February 2022.
At least nine buildings were damaged in the district of the city of Zaporizehzia, said Fedorov in the Telegram Message Application. The city of Zaporizehzia is the administrative center of the region.
“Emergency services continue to respond on land,” said Fedorov.
Reuters could not verify the report independently. There were no immediate comments from Russia.
Both sides deny the target of civilians in their attacks on each other’s territory. But thousands of civilians died in the conflict, the vast majority of them Ukrainians.
