Tarcísio receives mayors and implants social flag – 08/05/2025 – Panel

The governor of, (Republicans) will receive this Wednesday (6) at the Palácio dos Bandeirantes mayor and first ladies of 49 municipalities participating in the first phase of the SUPERATION SP program,

The program focuses on creating conditions to take families out of poverty by monitoring indicators and offering training.

The cities served in this first group are located in the metropolitan regions of São Paulo, Campinas, Sorocaba and Baixada Santista. About 105 thousand families, participants of the Single Registry, will be accompanied until 2026.

In addition to the governor, the first lady and president of the State Social Fund, Cristiane Freitas, and the Secretary of Social Development, Andrezza Rosalém, should participate in the event.

The program has an initial investment of R $ 500 million and brings together 29 public policies from different secretariats.

The funds will be used in programs such as the Social Assistance Reference Centers (CRAS), Specialized Social Assistance Reference Centers (CREAS), Centers of Coexistence for the Elderly and Home Care, among others.

Participating families will be able to receive social protection assistance, incentives for training and support for inclusion in the labor market.

This Tuesday (5), the government published a decree that regulates the program.

“The overcoming SP represents a milestone in São Paulo social policy, aiming to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty and promote the improvement of the living conditions of families in vulnerability in the state of São Paulo,” says Secretary Rosalém.
