At 6:30 am on August 6, 1945, Colonel Paul Tibbets, piloting the Enola Gay bomber, warned the crew: “We are carrying the first atomic bomb.” At 8:15 am the belly of the plane released the artifact and Tibbets moved away from the scene.

The bomb exploded 43 seconds later, over a flat city with thousands of wooden houses. She produced a flash, charing the people who were going to work. Even today you can see at the city’s museum, printed on a granite step of the Sumitomo bank, the shadow of a person who was sitting there. That’s what remains of her.

. After time, a photograph of the explosion, autographed by five bomber crew members, was worth less than another, with a simple autograph of the admiral who commanded the American fleet of the Pacific. “This pump photo is politically incorrect,” explained the New York store manager.

This time also passed. The politically incorrect dominated. Days ago the president sent submarines with nuclear warheads to the coast of. If that were little, a Hierarca warned that Moscow can respond to an attack with his “dead -hand” program, thanks to which warheads will be fired automatically. The scene of a Bipedo pressing a button can be something from the past. In the war, he has already implied that he can use nuclear artifacts with tactical goals. It would be less powerful bombs than Hiroshima’s.

In October last year, the American journalist George Will wrote that World War IIr had already begun. He argued that World War II began long before September 1939, when he invaded Poland. Japan invaded China in 1931, the Germans attached to Austria and took a piece of Czechoslovakia in 1938.

So far, it could be a journalist talk, but Russian Foreign Minister Serguei Lavrov has dealt with the matter on at least three occasions. In March, Chinese diplomacy spokesman announced that his country is ready for “any kind of war.”

In another end of the trouble is Donald Trump. His knowledge of history is primitive but unsettling. His tariff hero is William McKinley. In 1898 he doubled to Spain, took the Philippines, turned Cuba into a protectorate, and attached Hawaii.

American generals and presidents who win wars in general get along well. The ones were chaired by six generals, all out of free elections. (Brazil had nine, with only two outstanding elections.) WWII gave Franklin Roosevelt two of its four terms and to General Dwight Eisenhower, who commanded the allied troops, two more. Theodore Roosevelt, McKinley’s successor, gained fame taking a hill in Cuba. (Trump usually poses in front of his portrait, with a uniform made at Casa Brooks Brothers.)

Following this writing, George Bush father and Lyndon Johnson rode the wars of the Gulf and Vietnam, but fell from the horses in 1992 and 1968.

Trump has already led the world to a tariff war and may be dating another that allows him to battle for a third term.
