Application No. 1730/2025, filed by the councilman (PT-PA), was approved with 12 favorable votes, 9 against and 2 abstentions.

On Tuesday (5.ago), in their profiles on social networks, Costa, leader of the PT bench in the City Council, during a session that stated that their request was a way for councilors to position themselves against the US imposition of a portion of Brazilian products.
“I submitted a request, which, I know, will polemize a lot in this house, which is in relation to the tariff. Tariff that meets US economic interests, but directly affects the Brazilian people”Said the petista councilman.
“Not only the big ones, the mega businessmen, everyone will be hit: the hardworking people, the acai seller will also be hit. In general, everyone will be hit, so this house has to have a clear position ”said Costa, classifying the imposition of tariffs as “an irresponsible attitude ” The Trump.
