Vegetarian skewers are a delicious and healthy offer of dishes that will be perfect on a grill with friends or as a light dinner for the whole family. The base of skewers is tofu, which thanks to the marinade takes on a special taste, gently breaking its natural gentleness. The whole is not only simple to prepare, but also rather and full of nutritional values, ideal for people looking for meatless alternatives. Skewers in this edition have a distinct aroma, therefore They go best with light vegetable salads (e.g. on the basis of crunchy cucumber and radish), rice, yogurt sauce or baked sweet potatoes or potatoes. Such additions will make the dish really filling.
Ingredients:
- 450 g tofu,
- green pepper,
- Large onion.
Marinade:
- 80 ml of olive oil,
- 60 ml of balsamic vinegar,
- 3 tablespoons of honey,
- Dijon mustard spoon,
- a spoon of brown sugar,
- a tablespoon of soy sauce,
- clove of garlic,
- a teaspoon of ground ginger,
- a teaspoon of oregano,
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/4 teaspoon of smoked peppers,
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.

Method of performance:
Press tofu to the form of ankles. putting something heavy on it for 30 minutes. You can also use the ready pressed ingredient and simply cut into cubes. Slip them off the liquid.
Cut the green peppers and onions into medium -sized cubes.
Prepare the marinade by mixing all the ingredients to a homogeneous mass. Pour the chopped tofu and vegetables. Mix until completely covered.
Soak bamboo sticks in water for 20 minutes. You can also use metal, reusable sticks. Fold vegetarian skewers, hammering tofu, onions and green peppers.
Put the skewers on a large baking tray. Pour the remnant of the marinade from the bowl.
Heat a grill – a free -standing, oven with a barbecue function or a grill pan. Fry them for 8-10 minutes on each side, then turn and fry on the other side for the next 10 minutes.
Serve ready skewers warm, immediately after preparation. Store the remains in the fridge and heat in the oven or in a pan.
