Death of Teacher: Lawyer gives up the defense of the accused son

Criminal lawyer Gabriel Arruda, who was ahead of the defense of Matteos França Campos, 32 years oldwho confessed to killing his own mother, Professor Soraya Tatiana Bomfim, 56, abandoned the case.

In a video recorded by the lawyer, he explains that the law firm that represented the teacher’s son, analyzed the process and decided, for reasons of ethics, not to continue the defense of Matteos.

“After careful analysis, we decided not to continue the defense in the process involving the death of Professor Soraya Tatiana. Such a decision refers to the ethical and moral values of our office. We have already affirmed our feelings to all family members, friends and students of dear Professor Tati, making us available for any clarification,” says Gabriel.

Death threats and transfers
