The smell of baked plums with sugar is second to none. Our recipe for a pudding cake with these fruits will take only a quarter of an hour, and will satisfy the most dastiest palates. You can make them with crumble, sprinkle with powdered sugar, serve with ice cream or whipped cream. It will be delicious in each version.
Hungarian plums, as the name suggests, came to us from Hungary. This does not mean, however, that they come from there, their pedigree dates back to Asia Minor. Despite this, centuries ago they have acclimatized in Poland and every year we can enjoy their tasty and healthy fruits.
The plum season has just started. It is worth using it, because these fruits contain a lot of fiberwhich regulates the intestinal work. They are also a valuable source of vitamins such as A, C, E and K, and B vitamins. Their consumption supports the immunity and work of the nervous system. In plums we also find potassium, magnesium, iron and phosphorus. This is salvation for the heart and muscle structure. Plums also lower cholesterol and have a low glycemic index. They are recommended for slimming because fiber provides satiety for a long time. Although it is difficult to talk about a strict diet when eating cakes with plums, this combination has its good sides. Vitamins A, E and K absorb our body together with fat. And this will certainly not be missing in the dough.
The recipe for a pudding cake with plums is simple, baking has no chance to fail. Preparation will take you literally for a while and the effect will be amazing. If you want, you can pour the top of the cake with crumble, but then the caloric content of the dish will increase.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of wheat flour (type up to 550) – 2 cups 250 ml,
- 250 ml of oil,
- 4 eggs,
- 3 vanilla puddings,
- 160 g of sugar – about ¾ cup 250 ml,
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder,
- a pinch of salt,
- about 700 grams of hollow plums,
- butter to grease the baking tray,
- Two tablespoons of breadcrumbs.
Preparation method:
Cut the plums in half and cover half the sugar, set aside.
Mix loose ingredients with you: flour, baking powder and pudding.
Rub the eggs with the remaining sugar so that they break. Then add oil to them and mix. Add gradually mixed loose ingredients to the mass and mix all the time until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Brush the baking tray with butter and spill with breadcrumbs. Place the plums on its bottom. Finally, pour out the dough on it, trying not to leave unwashed plums.
Heat the oven to 180 degrees without hot air. Bake the dough for 50 minutes, to a dry stick.
Do not remove the dough immediately. Leave them to cool and wait until the plum juice soaks into the dough.
