Map: powerful cold wave “will freeze” much of Brazil

One New wave of intense cold hits the country from this Friday (8). The condition is caused by an air mass of polar origin that comes from Argentina and will mainly affect the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Paraná.

According to climatempo information, the entry of this polar air mass on the continent is classified as the 5th in the country and It should extend until next Wednesday (13).

The cold will reach the South, Southeast and Midwest regions, as well as causing cold in Acre and Rondônia, in northern Brazil.
