Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Thursday at a press conference that he is ready for cooperation with President Karol Nawrocky, but At the same time, he warned him of trying to interfere with the government’s competences. He stressed that if the president would like to hinder the government, he will feel who he manages the country according to the Constitution. “Wherever the new president will want to help, I will welcome his willingness to cooperate. Wherever he wants to hinder, he will see what they mean constitutional rules, that is, who manages the country. I will be very consistent and uncompromising if necessary,” declared Tusk.

At the margo of the new leadership of the Presidential Office, Tusk noted that he could not comment on him yet, as he does not know him. “I don’t have a firm opinion because I don’t know his composition. If I know him, I will probably have an opinion, but it will probably be without enthusiasm,” specified. Nawrocki passed the presidential oath on Wednesday and officially took over the Office of the President of the Republic of Poland and later also took command of the armed forces.
